Robbie Henshaw is the hottest property in Irish rugby right now.
Speculation regarding the future of the 22-year-old has been abundant in recent weeks with him either staying at Connacht or moving east to Leinster seen as the two main possibilities. Though Anthony Foley has not discounted the chance that the centre might move south to Thomond Park.
However, listening to the Irish Times' Gerry Thornley on Off The Ball on Wednesday evening would make one think that all this talk is pointless.
According to Thornley, Henshaw's move to Leinster is '99 percent likely' and has been for quite a while.
They're definitely getting Henshaw. It's 99 percent likely and it has been for a year now. I don't understand why there's so much discussion about it. I'm sure that working with Jonny Sexton, Brian O'Driscoll and so forth in the Irish camp has only made him more determined to go and join Leinster. They could do with a 12 I think.
He'll definitely end up at Leinster and he's preparing the ground for it.
There's a danger of it becoming almost Raheem Sterling-esque in terms of the discussions.
That view certainly differs from what the player himself told Ivan Yates on Newstalk's Breakfast Show earlier in the week.
