Arsenal vs Leicester: FanFeud preview
Another weekend, another bumper weekend of FanFeud. With the top four all facing off against each other, it's a massive weekend both from the Premier League and fantasy players. The Balls/FanFeud 5-a-side fantasy challenge this week will be Arsenal vs Leicester game at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
It's a fascinating game for a few reasons. Arsene Wenger has 9 wins and 4 draws in his 13 games against Claudio Ranieri. However, Leicester are one of the form fantasy teams in the Premier League. There's a very interesting article on the FanFeud blog about the evolution of Leicester as a fantasy powerhouse. A team that was carried largely by Mahrez and Vardy has diversified greatly in recent weeks.
Huth (58) and Fuchs (51) have been the two top defenders in FPL over the past 8 gameweeks, whilst Schmeichel (43) is second only to Petr Cech over that time among goalkeepers. Each are underowned when you consider that production, and seem to have been overlooked by many fantasy owners. Don’t make that mistake with your own team.
Something to consider. Balls readers who took the FanFeud challenge will know that Balls.ie fantasy god Gavan Casey generously put 100 quid of winnings into last week's pot, which he subsequently lost. Fantasy god Gavan, however, is aiming to bounce back with by picking a five-a-side that looks like this.
He's left out Fuchs and Huth, bravely. Half of the pot Gavan lost for Chelsea vs United will be on the line this weekend. To avail of a free bet, just do the following:
