A Donegal Ladies GAA team scored a goal in just 13 seconds last weekend, after claiming the throw-in and passing the ball just three times before smashing it into the net.
Phenomenally, it was the midfielder Shannon McGroddy of the Termon Ladies club who put the ball in the net after putting in the groundwork to win the throw-in. While the ball was being delivered into the danger area, McGroddy timed her run to get on the end of the attack and provide the finish.
And what a finish it was.
The Termon Ladies Football club won their fourth successive Senior County title on Sunday. They are also the reigning All-Ireland Senior Club champions and with a ruthless efficiency like this, the extent of their dominance is no surprise.
We can only assume Jim Gavin and Eamonn Fitzmaurice have been browsing YouTube this week looking for a tactical edge and all we can say is, if we don't get to see this kind of free flowing attacking football in the All-Ireland final, we're doing to be very disappointed.
