There were twice as many impressions and nearly twice as many tweets about McGregor and Diaz than the second placed event - an NBA game between the Lakers and Golden State:
It's noticeable how much NBA is in the top ten - with the NBA leaders Golden State Warriors featuring in three of the top ten, with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers also featuring twice.
But it's impressive how much interest there was in UFC 196, especially when it was a pay-per-view event and it doesn't last anywhere near as long as any of the basketball games that make up the top 10.
