Tonight's 'True North' BBC documentary on Crossmaglen Rangers rightly generated plenty of praise from the assorted TV critics of the social media community.
The doc didn't shy away from the big questions about the British army and the IRA.

But it also delved into the mundane issues dealt with by every club in the country. McConville and McEntee launching an internal prosecution over an alleged infringement of a drinking ban was very interesting viewing.

And most negatively of all, Jamie Clarke's disillusionment with the sport was evident throughout.
The reaction to the programme has been overwhelmingly positive.
Lot of people deserve huge credit for Crossmaglen doc, and fair play for allowing access to some uncomfortable conversations.

The BBC True North documentary on Crossmaglen Rangers was fantastic. Great example of how a sporting team can define an entire community.

My personal fav quote of #Crossmaglen documentary was

Seeing the mental turmoil Jamie Clarke had to go through just to do as he wanted with his life is where the GAA has gone wrong #TrueNorth
