Marc Wilmots has named his 24-man squad for the Euros this morning, and it should send shivers down the spine of Richard Keogh and John O'Shea, and indeed all Ireland fans. The #2 team in the world are flexing their offensive muscle ahead of the tournament and have named a squad with 8 forwards and 4 midfielders, according to the Belgian FA.
Whether you consider Kevin de Bruyne a midfielder or a forward, it's patent that Wilmots will be fielding arguably the most potent offensive threat at the tournament. Encouragingly for Ireland, Fellaini has been named in the team. Janujaj has been omitted. Eden Hazard, who has worryingly drifted into form, will be Belgium captain.
Galatasary's Jason Denayer's will take Vincent Kompany's place in the squad.
