The news that Adidas were going to discontinue one of the most popular lines of football boots ever seen in the Predator last year upset many, and caused us here at Balls.ie to express our love for the 2002 Predator Mania, which many believe to be the best football boot ever made.
Adidas then released the 'Ace' and the 'X' as they looked to move in a new direction, and both of those boots are excellent to be fair, both in their aesthetics and comfort, but... They just aren't the Predator!
That's why we are so excited to see a leaked image that suggests a big announcement may be on the way. An Adidas boot collector on Instagram that goes by the handle @thepredcollective has shown his followers two images of a special box he claims to have recieved in the post. The box has the Adidas Predator instinct logo, mentions @adidasUK, and has the hashtag #guesswhosback:

We are fully aware that tomorrow is April 1st, and this could be a prank, but we would hope that no man is cruel enough to bring the Adidas Predator into the absolute bile that does the rounds on the internet on that most frustrating of days.
That weird face logo on the box is the same that appeared inside the stunning Predator Accelerator back in the day:
Could this be another remake? Or another line of old predators re-released? Or are they simply bringing the old logo back for a new line of Predators? Or is this all a pisstake? So many questions.
The last time Adidas re-released the classic Predators, they were crazy expensive and sold out within hours:
So hopefully if they were to do something similar this time around they would be more readily available to the consumers who love the classic Preds so much.
