Serie D, as I've just found out, is absolutely massive - its 400 teams are broken into nine regional sub-groups, or 'gironi'.
Fersina v. Dro sounds like a made-up fixture from a particularly lazy video game, but they're two very real Girone C teams from Trentino in thefar northeast of Italy.
One of the players - for Fersina, I'm sure - knocked the ball back to the Dro keeper after it was put out for an injury.
Cue comedy, then fair play. It's not the first time this has happened, of course.
Meanwhile, the base of the Italian football pyramid isn't the only bastion of the corinthian spirit when it comes to looking after injured opponents. This time, however, it involved keeping the ball out of the net:
