It took Seanie Maguire just 20 minutes to properly introduce himself to Preston North End fans on Tuesday night.
Maguire had completed his move to the Championship side on Monday and last night made his first appearance is a pre-season friendly against Burnley.
It was a game and scoresheet dominated by Irish players. In all, 13 were involved and three hit the back of the net.
After Jon Walters and Kevin Long had given Burnley a 2-0 lead at Deepdale, Maguire, who had entered the game as a half-time substitute, got one back for his new side and new Preston manager Alex Neil.

Picking the ball up inside the Burnley half after 65 minutes, Maguire drove at the Premier League's side defence, finding the net with a low shot past the keeper.
Post-match, Alex Neil had some praise for Maguire.
I thought we got better second half and the introduction to Sean Maguire at half-time with his pace stretched the game for us.
It was a great individual goal, I thought his pace in behind was excellent and I thought he showed why he's had such a good season so far this year. The lad's been here one day and played really well based on that.
They started playing deeper which opened up spaces meaning we could move the ball and create some decent chances.
