It was a riveting weekend of Premier League action, with Chelsea (surprigingly) losing at Stamford Bridge and Everton (not surprisingly) losing at Anfield. We've crunched the stats and can now present to you the Balls.ie Premier League Team of the Weekend.
GK - Jordan Pickford
Pickford is doing everything he can do to keep Sunderland up, but it is surely not enough. Sunderland could use eleven Pickford's but we're not sure they'd be much with ten keepers playing in the field.
RB - Eric Dier
Dier was back in 'natural' position as a rightback yesterday, and wouldn't you know, he scored his first goal in ages as Spurs fought off Burnley at Turf Moor.
1 - Eric Dier has scored his first Premier League goal in 475 days, since netting vs Newcastle in December 2015. Straits.

CB - Miguel Britos
The Uruguayan outleaped all around him to scored his first goal in England as Watford held on for a 1-0 win over Sunderland.
Miguel Britos scores for Watford! His first goal in English football. Never capped by Uruguay. The FA should think about nationalising him.

CB - Andrea Ranocchia
The Italian defender got his first goal at Hull, and what a huge goal it may prove to be. Hull can still dream of promotion today. Ranocchia was left thinking of frogs.
It was exciting !! 💪 🐸 #first #goal #premierleague #frog pic.twitter.com/lBK8xGca8X

LB - Christian Fuchs
Statistically, Fuchs was the #1 left back on the Whoscored registry in the Premier League this weekend. Another week, another Leicester cleansheet.

MF - Lucas Leiva
Lucas proved there is life after Jordan Henderson for Liverpool, with a vintage performance in the Liverpool midfield.
MF - Philipe Coutinho
Scored the decisive goal just minutes after Pennington equalised. Phil seemed back to his best, which is just what Liverpool will need with Mane injured.
MF - Wilfred Ndidi
The 20-year-old Nigerian scored the goal of the weekend. How things have changed for Leicester in a month.
Good win👍🏻, another 3 points✌🏻, magnificent support👊🏻. Happy to score my 1st @premierleague goal. #nw25

MF - Wilfried Zaha
Zaha had his best game of a stellar season yesterday as Palace did what no one seemed capable of: beating Chelsea. Willian woke up in a cold sweat last night thinking about those Zaha silky skills.
When God says yes no one can say no.
Fantastic team performance.
3 points in the bag.

F - Jamie Vardy
Safe to say that Vardy has transformed his season in the weeks after Claudio Ranieri was given his P45.

After 22nd Feb - 5 goals in 6 games #LCFC pic.twitter.com/uJbTXfj1y9— Unibet (@unibet) April 1, 2017
F - Christian Benteke
The first striker of the season to channel Peppa Pig but he'll take it.
Christian Benteke's first half by numbers vs. Chelsea:
100% take-ons completed
4 aerial duels won
2 chances created
1 shot
1 assist
