Christmas is on the way and among other things, Christmas means sports books. There's at least 25 sports books on the the market this year (including our brilliant book). Over the next few weeks, Conor Neville and Donny Mahoney are going to be talking to the authors of the best sports books of 2015 with the 'Balls Book Club' podcast.
For Episode 1, we had the pleasure of welcoming John Leonard, author of 'Dub Sub Confidential' to Balls HQ. Leonard has a truly unique journey in life - from smoking opium in the Himalayas in the early noughties to deputising for Stephen Cluxton with the Dubs from 2006-2008. It's the sportswriter's sports book of the year and we had a great chat with John about his life in and out of football.
