Referee Paud O'Dwyer officiated at the All-Ireland Minor Hurling final yesterday just 24 hours after the death of his mother.
O'Dwyer was honoured with a round of applause at the end of the game as a mark of respect while others took to Twitter to commend O'Dwyer for his commitment to the job.
