It would be fair to say that while Celtic fans were understandably excited when the signing of Fulham striker Moussa Dembele was confirmed, he has exceeded expectations at Park Head thus far.
The PSG youth product has wasted no time in showing just what he can do, and we are already at a point where searching his name on twitter will show you fans of the club showering him with the highest of praise.
As they should.
Right from the start.
Although he made his official debut in an embarrassing loss to the Red Imps of Gibraltar, Dembele got up and running against Astana in the next round of the Champions League qualifiers and has not stopped scoring since.
Some may have expected a Glasgow derby with Rangers to be coming too soon in his career in the third week of September, but it was the making of Dembele as he permanently endeared himself to the Celtic faithful with the club's first derby hat-trick in a league game since 1966, en route to a 5-1 win.
A "big game" player.
As if that utterly ridiculous stat above wasn't enough, Moussa Dembele soon made the whole of Europe stand up and take notice by bagging two in a breathtaking 3-3 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League group stages.
But he wasn't done there. A League Cup semi-final with Rangers at Hampden Park saw Dembele once again produce the goods, as he scored a late winner to send Celtic through to the final. And it was a delicious back-heel and all.
Oh, and he ruined England for France U21s earlier in the week...
? Congratulations to @MDembele_10 who scored two goals this evening to earn France Under-21s a 3-2 victory over England! ??? pic.twitter.com/HzUUrqTWis

Statistical sensation.
The French striker's stats are outrageous for a young player adjusting to life in a new country.
He's scored 20 goals and provided 6 assists in 28 games since August. If he keeps that rate up, he will have awards thrown at him and records broken.
One to watch? Moussa Dembélé has scored 19 goals in 26 games for club & country this season. ?#UCL pic.twitter.com/kPqhmw9XXF

Those numbers show the potential to become one of those special Celtic signings, a foreigner who comes in and casts a spell on the Tims by tearing up all in front of him. The only question is, how long can they keep him?
He's getting what he came for.
Why did Moussa Dembele sign for Celtic?
While at Fulham, he was linked with several massive clubs including Manchester United, who are reported to still be interested along with Barca who saw first hand what he can do. By joining Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow, he wanted a chance to showcase his skills on the biggest stage in the Champions League, helping the club to reach that stage first, and raising his profile in the process.
It's a win-win situation, and it's absolutely working so far.
But to re-iterate, all that he has done, he has done within the first 3 months of joining a new club.
It's enough to have clubs all over Europe sniffing around, and it's enough to get the top-end YouTube highlights job. As always, a warning that it's probably best to provide your own audio.
The sky is the limit.
If Moussa Dembele decides to stick around for a few more years, he could go down as one of the greats, but there will always be the worry that a bigger club may lure him away.
His presence is good for Scottish football, these are the types of signings that can see real quality return to the league after some troubled times, although fans of other clubs may not enjoy Celtic continuing to dominate domestically.
A great signing, a terrific player, Moussa Dembele is exactly what Celtic needed. All he has to do is keep it up.
Now if he just had a brother who could replace Nir Bitton in central midfield...
