Disaster struck Ireland's main rivals Scotland this weekend after they were left stranded in Georgia when their flight home failed to show up at the airport. They eventually arrived home at 6am Saturday morning leaving their preparation for tonight's crucial clash with Germany in a bit of bother.

Ireland could potentially profit from this travel woe. Scotland's chances of qualifying are already in jeopardy since falling to a 1-0 defeat in Tbilisi meaning the timing of their tussle with Germany could not be worse. And facing the current World Cup champions is a predicament no side wants to be in when they're sleep deprived.
The Scots seem rather worried about the travel chaos but as far as Ireland are concerned, there's only one thing to think about tonight. All eyes on the Aviva and that crunch game with Georgia. However, if Germany could do what we're expecting them to and come away from Scotland with three points then that would be just swell.
