Arsenal progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday as they put five past the first non-league side to reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup in over 100 years in Lincoln City.
Goals from Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, and Aaron Ramsey, as well as an own goal for Lincoln captain Luke Waterfall meant that Arsene Wenger's men could relax and take the foot off the gas a bit for last few minutes of the game, but seemingly that message did not get across to substitute Lucas Perez.
The Spanish striker was introduced with the score already at 3-0, but he was so determined to be involved in a goal that he threw himself to the ground in an attempt to win a penalty... At 5-0 up, in the 84th minute, agains non-league opposition.
I mean... Cop on to yourself, Lucas.
There's contact with his standing foot, but he takes a step, regains his balance as a challenge comes in, and then flops to the turf. Embarrassing.
Chris Sutton made his feelings very clear on the co-commentary, but he was also widely mocked for his antics as those watching on and sharing their views on Twitter..
Lucas Perez diving against Lincoln. Killer
