There's been some positive news for Liverpool fans in the transfer market today, and it's got nothing to do with any of the players at the club.
No, instead the ridiculous amount of money in English football has possibly given the Reds a boost, as Bristol City, who last year were playing in League One, have had a £6m bid accepted for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle, who always seems to give the performance of his life against Liverpool.

Gayle sparked the comeback from 3-0 down to see Palace draw 3-3 at the tail end of the 2013/14 season which reduced Luis Suarez to tears and totally derailed Liverpool's title challenge, and also bagged a goal in a 3-1 Palace win at Selhurst park again in November of last year.
As news broke, Liverpool fans were quick to express their relief at the news:
Goodbye Dwight Gayle! ?? https://t.co/mVtHXBPWyp

Every club has their bogey teams and bogey players, and it certainly seemed as though Gayle enjoyed playing against Liverpool more than any other team in the league. The deal is not completed, but with Palace accepting a £6m bid for him surely other clubs will also be interested so he could be leaving Palace sooner rather than later.
