Liverpool are playing Manchester United in a Premier League game on a Monday night. That is most unusual, and anticipating for the fixture has been building for weeks.
Both clubs came together to release a statement asking for fans to behave, as it's quite clear that there will be a bit more buzz than usual for this clash, and Sky Sports are certainly going to milk the shit out of it judging by the way they have been pushing #REDMONDAY in the buildup to October 17th.
And you can't blame them. Even the MNF regulars are getting up for the match, and the mind games have already kicked off between Carragher and Neville. When it comes to the show, Ryan Giggs will be in the studio as a guest, which means that Carragher will be outnumbered by Man Utd legends.
MT: On Monday night you will get far greater insight from @Carra23, @GNev2 and Ryan Giggs as to the details of the game. #AskTyler https://t.co/WJltJ1RDie

They are well up for it.
Based on what happened when Gary Neville returned to Sky after failing at Valencia, we're expecting some great entertainment.
WATCH: Jamie Carragher had been waiting six months for this! What did Gary Neville learn from his time at Valencia? https://t.co/3uV58xGlHx

Ryan Giggs isn't exactly the most interesting pundit we've seen, and that's putting it kindly. His best offering thus far as been describing the Premier League title race as a "war of nutrition" by mistake.
But hopefully Jamie Carragher can get something decent out of him. We'll be watching anyway, as Neville and Carragher together never fails to provide the best football coverage around, even when they are not deeply invested in the result of the match as they will be on Monday.
