Former World Champ, Bernard Dunne has this evening announced his retirement from the sport where he produced some of the most memorable irish sporting moments in recent memory.
Dunne said this evening that "the great Irish fans that travelled on the journey to a world title belt with me deserved better than to pay their hard earned cash just to see me go through the motions. I could never do that to them". Dunne went on to claim he had realised his dreams after following his dad into the sport 25 years ago.
