It's not just football that has transfer sagas and will he won't he move stories that last years, and generally get to the point that sickens everyone. Westmeath's Robbie Henshaw has long been linked with a move to Leinster despite having a contract with Connacht until 2016, and a lot more opportunities to play rugby than behind Luke Fitzgerald or Ben Te'o in a misfiring Leinster backline compared to the exciting and up and coming Connacht team.
That said, Ian Madigan decided it would be a brilliant idea to stir things, by posting this on his instagram account:
In case you weren't aware - Henshaw is in that photo, and the heading "dinner with the Leinster boys" probably refers to the fact that Henshaw is from the Westmeath half of Athlone, rather than any regurgitation of an old and almost dead rumour that Henshaw would move east.
Oh the joy of it, again.
On a related note, having Henshaw and Bundee Aki together in Connacht's midfield is a highly exciting prospect, and is definitely one to watch as the season progresses.
