The GAA today confirmed that a minute's silence will be held at all grounds this weekend as a mark of respect to the victims of the Berkeley tragedy.
One of the victims, 21 year old Eoghan Culligan was a member of Ballyboden St Enda's in Dublin and also played Gaelic Football with DIT. Culligan was one of the six Irish students who lost their lives when a balcony collapsed in the California town of Berkeley.
A nice gesture from the GAA and we are absolutely sure it will be impeccably observed nationwide.
