When Rory Donnelly did this for Cliftonville against Linfield back in 2011, some of the biggest names in English football sat up and took notice.
Liverpool and Everton were supposedly in a tug of war over the young attacker but eventually it was Swansea who won the race to sign him and it seemed like a great place for him to develop. Unfortunately it never really worked out for him in the Premier League and he now finds himself at Gillingham looking to build a career from further down the ladder.
Judging by his performance against Fleetwood last night that may not be a bad idea and, at 23, Donnelly still has time on his side and, interestingly for Irish fans, his international allegiance is still up for grabs. He's been capped at u21 level by Northern Ireland but amid rumours that he was open to a switch south of the border, that's as far as his international career has gone.
Granted, League One may not be the perfect place to be looking for talent but if he can keep doing things like this then there's plenty of scope to move up the leagues and into Martin O'Neill's plans.
