The Champions League makes its long awaited return to our lives tomorrow night, and while it'll be a joy to have the Zlatans, Messis and Pogbas back in our lives, there'll be a whole crop of new geniuses to discover on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We've done a deep dive into Football Manager '15 and come up with 5 players predicted for greatness this season according the greatest ever football game.

Stefan Kiessling - Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen kick off their Champions League 2015-16 campaign against Bate on Wednesday and all eyes will be on German striker Stefan Kiessling. Football Manager fans will be especially keen to watch Kiessling in this year's Champions League. Not only does he crack the Dream Team, he ends up as top goalscorer in the Champions League this season according to FM.

Christoph Kramer - Bayer Leverkusen

Kiessling's compatriot and Bayer teammate is probably most famous for getting concussed in the World Cup final, but the much-hyped midfielder will be one to watch throughout the group stages of this Champions League 2015-16 . He too cracks the Football Manager dream team

Samuel Umtiti - Lyon

How good is the Cameroon-born Lyon defender? According to Football Manager, his Champions League 2015-16 season is so good that Manchester United sign him for £33m next June.

Bernard - Shaktar

The Brazilian may have a name like a lad who'd be playing Junior B corner back but on the football pitch, he's already displayed enough prowess to be considered the next Oscar. Bernard plays for Shakhtar at the moment, and though Arsenal were rumoured to be in for him a few years back, in Football Manager, the Qataris who run PSG have already splurged on him.

Hervin Ongenda - PSG

Talented striker we hope someday is nicknamed 'Swervin' Hervin', Ongenda is not in the PSG's 2015-16 Champions League squad but he's young enough that he doesn't need to be registered. In Football Manager he ends up at Real Madrid in FM and has been banging in goals. In real life, he scored versus Manchester United in a preseason friendly in Chicago.
