Today was another very good day in the life of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, and for anyone who had him as their fantasy football captain.
The former non-league striker stretched his run of goals in consecutive games to 9, pulling within one of Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record, and scored from the penalty spot in a 2-1 win over Watford.
He picked up three bonus points aswell, so it was looking like Mr.Vardy was once again proving to be the savior of many a fantasy football manager's weekend, until he did this...

A clear middle-finger to the linesman after an offside decision.

The idea of a retrospective ban is certainly a possibility, and fantasy football managers were quick to express their nervousness:

Imagine Vardy getting a one match ban and losing his goal scoring form when he comes back.

Vardy has been a shining beacon of hope for fantasy managers who got on the bandwagon early, and has been the turning point for everyone who isn't Mark on the Balls.ie Fantasy Football Podcast (Mark only put him in his team last week).
