It was quite an All-Ireland Championship this year with the Eirgrid U21s giving us a chance to see the stars of the future.

The Gaelic Writers Association and Eirgrid ambassadors Bryan Cullen and Michael Meehan have selected 21 of the best players from this year's championship in the inaugural EirGrid U21 awards, while the GAA are looking for your help to select the Eirgrid U21 Player of the Championship.

Champions Tyrone have the most players honoured, with seven names on the 21 man list, and two players on the three man shortlist for the player of the championship. Runners-up Tipperary come in next with six players honoured, and Colin O'Riordan completing the shortlist for the player of the championship.

Semi-finalists Roscommon and Dublin get two awards apiece, while players from Galway, Kildare, Cork and Donegal complete the 21.

You can vote for the Player of the Championship here on the Official GAA facebook page. The vote is between Tyrone midfielder Cathal McShane, Tipperary midfielder Colin O'Riordan and Tyrone forward Lee Brennan. Voting will be open until Sunday 31st of May.
