As regular listeners to Mooney will know, they have regular interactive sports bulletins where Derek is joined by a reporter from the sports department. John Kenny a sports presenter/reporter was the man to join him last Tuesday and it would appear that there is no love lost between the two. You can almost feel the air leave the room as Derek chooses to interrupt the sports news with the incisiveness that has made him a fixture for middle Ireland.
