Cormac Reilly came in for fierce criticism for how he handled the Kerry/Mayo epic in the All-Ireland semi-final replay two years ago. Now though, it appears that he's no longer suitable to be a championship referee.
A panel of 18 refs was announced, with Reilly being demoted to a group of eight linesmen. Championship debutant Noel Mooney from Cavan replaces Reilly.
Mayo fans are likely to be pleased, who still haven't got over that game. after Kevin McStay tore into Reilly over his handling of it.
