Last weekend, the Cork footballers managed to concede a mammoth 4-25 at home to Roscommon in the National Football League.
In a stunning act of empathy, the Cork hurlers have also leaked a humiliating score this weekend: a ludicrous 4-21 against Dublin, losing by ten points. It could have even worse but for two Cork goals in injury time. The score at half-time was 3-12 to 0-09 in Dublin's favour.
The result leaves Cork at the bottom of Division 1A, on zero points.
