On The Ultimate Fighter a couple of weeks ago, Conor McGregor went low and hit Urijah Faber where it hurt. Their needly back and forward has been one of the most enjoyable aspects of this season's show and while you can tell there's an obvious respect between the pair, that doesn't stop McGregor doing what he does best from time to time.
His snake in the grass comments about Faber's protege T.J. Dillashaw were wonderfully entertaining but they really did seem to have a bit of an effect on the California Kid. It was a brief flicker of emotion in a sport where bravado is king and it certainly made a mark with viewers.
Fast forward two weeks and McGregor's comments are looking all the more prophetic.
Dillashaw has left Team Alpha Male to train with Elevation Fight Team in Denver, Colorado. Faber was told of the move before reports began to break, which makes this Instagram post from yesterday rather notable.
We can only assume McGregor is sitting back and laughing that yet another one of his predictions has come through in record time. So Faber vs Dillashaw next up anyone?
