Tour de France leader Chris Froome has said he won't be wearing the yellow jersey when stage seven begins today. He made the decision out of respect for injury cyclist Tony Martin.
Martin was race leader before crashing into Etixx-Quick-Step teammate and stage six leader Zdenek Stybar who then took out two further riders in the final kilometre of stage six. The collision left Martin with a broken collarbone, forcing him to abandon the 2015 edition of cycling's premiere race.

Froome took over as race leader due to Martin's retirement but in a gesture to the injured rider, he posted on his Twitter this morning that he won't be wearing the yellow jacket when the race recommences.
For those asking, I won’t be wearing yellow today! All the best to @tonymartin85 with his op & recovery #MaillotJaune#TDF2015
