Celtic came from behind to beat Rangers 2-1 at Ibrox today, taking their lead in the Scottish Premier League to 19 points. With a game in hand.
Even by their recent standards, Celtic's dominance of the SPL this season has been extraordinary. They have now won 19 and drawn one of their 20 games this season.
The win today was their 15th in a row.
They had to cope with a wobble early on as Kenny Miller slid in to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Ibrox Park shook with excitement and euphoria.
Many folk had trouble wrapping their heads around the notion that Kenny Miller could still be scoring goals in Glasgow Derby games.
Shout out to English pals seeing Kenny Miller score in an Old Firm as though nothing has happened in Scottish football in the past 8 year https://t.co/BLq9uNuvL3

The year is 2083 and Kenny Miller is still playing in the Old Firm

The year is 2638. Kenny Miller is still playing professional football and has scored against a team his great great great grandson manages.

A UK betting firm decided to engage in some provocation.
Kenny Miller is the only man in history to score for all 3 teams in the #OldFirm Derby

After he 30th minute mark, Moussa Dembele slammed home an equaliser. Just his 5th goal against Rangers this season then.
5 - Moussa Dembélé has scored five goals in three appearances against Rangers this season. Rampant.

Into the second half, Celtic began to demonstrate their superiority. Sinclair passed home the winning goal and but for the goalkeeping of Foderingham, both Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong would have added more goals.
One of the biggest talking points was Brendan Rodgers injuring himself on the touchline in the celebrations.
Jeez, apparently Brendan Rodgers has ripped a calf muscle celebrating the winning goal ?

After the game, Celtic's young supporter Jay Beatty celebrated on the pitch with the players. Though the Sky cameras felt obliged to cut away.

Jay Beatty being led down to the away end, but Sky Sports abruptly cut off the footage for an interview that could be shown any time. Poor.

Former Celtic Striker Pierre Van Hooijdonk enjoyed it.

Chris Sutton, the stern-faced pundit who has delighted in mocking Rangers all year, did at least praise them for making a game of it.
But ultimately, the match confirmed his opinion that Rangers are closer in quality to Partick Thistle than they are to Celtic.
Or maybe, he simply meant that Rangers are closer in points tally to Partick Thistle than they are to Celtic. Which, of course, they are.
.@btsportfootball great game! Credit to Rangers they made a game of it⚽️ But closer to Thistle that's the reality⚽️ Scottish Football on up?
— Chris Sutton (@chris_sutton73) December 31, 2016
Very stupid to try and go toe to toe with Celtic when you're that inferior. Warburton's fortunate it wasn't another 5-1.
— Richard Hay (@RNHay) December 31, 2016
Deceptive score. Celtic had more good chances today than in the 5-1 game.
— Paul Brennan (@CQN) December 31, 2016
@BBCchrismclaug celtic war the far superior team if it wasnt for their goalie it would have been 5-1 again

After the game, Celtic fans decided to retaliate against the Rangers supporters who thrashed the toilets at Celtic Park earlier this season. By placing scented candles on the sink.
You trash our toilets. We leave yours smelling good pic.twitter.com/AfWQBcHUVH
