Canada's Jamie Cudmore Tries A Cheeky Tactic To Infiltrate The French Lineout

France and Canada played out a wonderful first half of rugby in their pool D clash on Thursday night. There were five tries scored in the opening forty minutes. French outhalf Freddie Michalak put on a clinic in cut-throat display, before the Canadians gave us hope of an upset by pulling it back to 17-12. Rabah Slimani's try halted the Canadian momentum before the half, but the best part of the opening stanza was this cheeky bit of play from Canada's Jamie Cudmore.

Cudmore plays his rugby in France with Clermont Auvergne, and decided to chance his arm by joining the French huddle trying to eavesdrop on the call.

My favourite part is how Eddie Ben Arous the French prop watches Cudmore join the huddle, and allows it happen with a classic Gallic shrug.
