Darragh Ennis has become the most talked about Irishman in the UK over the past 24 hours, after it was revealed that he would be joined The Chase as a Chaser in the coming months. Many people have been asking who is Darragh Ennis, but fans of the show will know him well.
Darragh earned the recognition of producers of the show, and indeed The Chasers, when he had a sterling performance on the show back in March 2017. We've dug up that performance from youtube. In it, Darragh had a tremendous cash-building round, answering 9 out of 11 questions correctly.

Darragh became a bit of an internet celebrity because his teammates took the lower offer made that day.
Interestingly, Darragh's sister-in-law Louise Gannon was tagged in our Instagram post about the news and commented that Darragh has known he'd be joining the show for a year and has been feverishly studying ever since.
"It’s gas. We’ve known about a year but weren’t allowed say anything . He studies for hours every night," she said.
Chaser Mark Labbett said on Twitter that he expects Darragh to make his debut in the autumn.
