Wrestling documentaries can sometimes be hit or miss but when they hit they are definitely tremendous. They're the perfect blend of nostaglia, storytelling and peaks behind the curtain, entertaining fans while offering us a glimpse behind the scenes of one of the most grueling professions in entertainment.
Hopefully the WWE's new Undertaker documentary series Undertaker: The Last Ride will fall into that category as they profile Mark Calaway, the man behind one of the most iconic characters in the history of professional wrestling.
The five-part series will air on the WWE Network every Sunday night, starting with the premiere this weekend, straight after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. It will feature interviews with the main man himself, his wife Michelle McCool, Vince and Shane McMahon, Triple H and many many more stars, and by the looks of the trailer it should be fascinating.
At the tender age of 55, Undertaker is still going strong, stealing the show at Wrestlemania last month with his weirdly fascinating boneyard match against AJ Styles. However, Wrestlemania 2017 is the main focus in the first episode of this new documentary. Undertaker faced Roman Reigns at that year's event in what many thought would be his final ever match.
We get to see what Calaway puts himself through every year to prepare his body for the biggest night on the WWE's calendar.
Where to watch the Undertaker documentary
As we mentioned, the show is available on the WWE Network and you can sign up to a one-month free trial on WWENetwork.com. His interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin is something else that's well worth checking out on the network too, not mention the huge back catalogue of old wrestling documentaries that are available on there also.
