It was the decade that gave us so much. Smartphones, YouTube, Facebook, Bebo, the Crazy Frog, Robert Downey Jr's renaissance, the euro, Obama and Pat Shortt's Jumbo Breakfast Roll - the list goes on and on, and we plan to relive it all!
Welcome to 'Noughties Tuesdays' on The Rewind.
Every Tuesday we're going to celebrate the best and worst of the noughties as we take a trip down memory lane, embarking on nostalgia-filled jaunts through the years 2000-2009. We'll have quizzes, interviews, "think" pieces and more, delving into the pop culture cornerstones of a decade that provided us with plenty.
Today we're kicking things off with the first instalment of our weekly "How Well Do You Remember The 00s?" quiz, which you can play here. We also remember two brilliant RTÉ comedy shows from the 00s, arguing why Soupy Norman remains one of Ireland's best ever comedies here and rewatching some of the best moments from The Panel here.
And if you're looking for something to watch on Netflix this week then we present a detailed argument here on why that something should be the 2007 movie Hot Rod.
If you've any favourite shows, movies, music or memories from the noughties that you'd particularly like us to cover then get in touch by tweeting us @TheRewindIrl or messaging The Rewind on Facebook.
