It's fair to say Normal People has taken the world by storm over the past few weeks. The BBC/Hulu show, based of Sally Rooney's novel, has been hugely successful in both the UK and the USA. That feels a bit odd when you consider how quintessentially Irish the whole thing is.
Still, it has had no shortage of celebrity endorsements. Kourtney Kardashian recently shared her love for the show, while James Corden couldn't praise it highly enough.
Underplaying the impact of Normal People on @hulu has had on me for just a moment. I honestly think it may have changed my life. Its the best show I’ve watched in so long. @DaisyEdgarJones and @mescal_paul are extraordinary. It’s ALL extraordinary x pic.twitter.com/T74DYtDVbL

While the storyline lends itself to a strong show, it certainly wouldn't be the same with the performances of Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones in the lead roles.
The pair share amazing chemistry, and it seems that can be used in just about any scenario.
They appeared on Corden's The Late Late Show in the States last night when they were asked to perform an odd task, bringing their trademark intensity to random scenes from other TV shows. The results were hilarious.
Is there anything they can't do?
