Last month Netflix released a teaser for Will Ferrell's upcoming movie based around Eurovision, whetting our appetite for what has the potential to be a very funny film. All that was shown on that occasion was a clip of the song from the movie's Icelandic duo called 'Volcano Man'.
It did not reveal anything else about the plot of the movie, but now we have been given a first glimpse at what's in store.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga is based around the story of Icelandic duo Fire Storm (containing Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams), who are chosen as the country's Eurovision entry. The only thing is, they seem to get the piss taken out of them by the whole country as well as other entrants in the competition.
Pierce Brosnan also makes an appearance as Ferrell's father, but even he isn't interested in his son's exploits. The other Irish representation comes from Graham Norton who seems to mirror his real life role as a Eurovision commentator.
You can watch the trailer for the movie below.
It will be released on Netflix on June 26th.
This has the potential to be hilarious, or it could be absolutely awful. Either way, we will definitely be watching it.
