While we may been going through one of the toughest times in the history of our country, we have been continually uplifted and inspired by the actions of communities and individuals all around Ireland. No moreso than by the residents of Iveagh Trust Kevin Street and their "Balcony Bingo" on Easter Sunday.
The event raised €3,000 for frontline workers in St James Hospital and judging by the videos, it looked to be a whole pile of fun, despite the fact everyone couldn't physically come together.

Like their neighbours down the road in Ringsend, who have also been playing balcony bingo in recent weeks, there was not only plenty of craic to be had but there were Easter eggs up for grabs too!

With proceeds going to frontline workers, the community were treated to a quick visit from some grateful members of the Dublin Fire Brigade.

The residents are also planning to have another bingo day on the May bank holiday in just a few weeks time. Well done to everyone involved, you've brightened our day!
