Cast your minds back to the summer of 2019, the arguable height of horseplay. Word of a certain Ko Samui Cup had reached our shores and Irish Twitter was having a field day.
These days it's easy to say we've moved past quote-tweeting voice-notes of Southsiders chatting about their drinking antics, but we've been proved wrong. A brand new sensation has hit social media regarding the UCD Commerce International pub crawl. And it's a dinger.
"Right lads, I'm pleased to announce pub crawl 2022 for Commerce International," starts the announcement over WhatsApp, with the rousing melody of Ennio Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold in the background. Right away, we all know we've hit gold here.

The message goes on to describe what they have in store for the night out, which includes fines for people who don't where their Christmas jumpers and a no eye-contact rule for one of the pubs.
The horse-players involved plan to hit up the UCD Clubhouse, Farmer Browns, Ashtons, McSorelys, Birchills, Americana Bar, Smyths, The Taphouse, The Bleeding Horse and finishing up in Cassidy's on Camden Street.
It's fair to say Irish Twitter is loving this, with a lot of people recalling the infamous Ko Samui Cup tweet from over 3 years ago. We're sure the Rock lads will be proud of the Commerce Internationals, it's great to see a new generation fill their shoes.

We wish all of the international commerce students a happy Christmas and we hope they enter a team in 2023 Ko Samui CUp.
