We need our artists more than ever during these unprecedented times and thankfully Bob Dylan has delivered in his own unique way. How many artists just happen to have an unreleased 17-minute ditty about the JFK assassination in the arsenal?
Dylan is 78 and has not released an original song in 8 years.
At 4:09am today/9pm California time, Dylan uploaded Murder Most Foul to all the major streaming platforms. The song comes in at 16:56. According to google, it is technically his longest song, outdistancing the track 'Highlands' from 'Time Out Of Mind' by 25 seconds.
Greetings to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty across the years.
This is an unreleased song we recorded a while back that you might find interesting.
Stay safe, stay observant and may God be with you.

The song features the soon-to-be-classic line 'Rub a dub dub, this murder most foul'.
Twitter was typically on point in delivering an instant verdict on the song.
If you had Bob Dylan releasing a graphic 17-minute track about the Kennedy assassination tonight in the office pool, congratulations you win two trillion dollars.

It’s a very Bob Dylan move to release a 15-minute-long epic about the Kennedy assassination in the middle of a pandemic.
