For many people, RIP.ie is a vital service. Quite a few of you will be familiar with relatives sitting beside a radio waiting to hear the death notices on a local radio, with the more technologically advanced version allowing them to access the news on demand.
As well as death notices and funeral arrangements, the website also allows users to share their condolences with the bereaved family. That is a really important feature, especially for those who might not be able to make the funeral itself.
It is always nice for a family to see well wishes sent during a difficult time.
Twitter user shares wholesome RIP.ie habit
Visiting RIP.ie has become a force of habit for many in recent years, with one Twitter user revealing that they use the opportunity to share messages on some of the notices.
Sharing their anonymous confession to the near 1million followers on the Fesshole account, they said that they always share messages of condolences on the notices that nobody else has commented on.

This is a really nice touch. It may seem like a very small thing, but there is no telling the impact it could have on those that knew that person.
Quite a few social media users were touched by the gesture.

The hero we all needed.
That particular Twitter account often features less savoury confessions, but this one is certainly one of the more wholesome entries that you are likely to come across.
After seeing this message on the site, you get the sense that it is something other people might do on occasion moving forward.
