Given the incredible amount of information and the vast array of people that were introduced in Netflix's beloved documentary series Tiger King, it's entirely possible to make ten documentaries on the story, let alone just Tiger King Season 2.
Hell, you could give each character their own feature and you'd still only be scratching the surface of the mystery, mayhem, murderous plots, and animal cruelty that took place.
At the moment, a second season of the documentary hasn't been officially confirmed by Netflix but during a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, Dillon Passage, Joe Exotic's husband, was asked about the status of Tiger King 2.
Passage said that the new episodes "will tell a little bit of during Joe's arrest and afterwards."
When asked about the status of Tiger King 2, he said: “I’ve done a little bit of filming for that. I do not know the release date but it’s going to be very interesting because it will tell a little bit of during Joe’s arrest and afterwards. I know there’s going to be some phone call recordings of Joe that's going to be in it. There is no filming since he’s incarcerated.”
During a recent interview with the Radio Times, Carole Baskin refuted any claims that she'd be returning for a potential new season.
She said: “No one has asked me to participate in a second round of Tiger King, Murder, Mayhem and Madness and there is no amount of money that would cause me to trust the producers again after their sick betrayal of the animals and me.
“I wasn’t paid the first time around, although several people have come forward saying they were paid. That violates the very nature of a documentary along with so many other things that were staged and taken out of context.”
