If you are of a certain vintage, there is a very good chance that your childhood in Ireland revolved around The Den. The show was a staple on RTÉ for over 20 years, and there was nothing quite like arriving in after a long day at school to flick on the TV and catch up with that day's exploits.
While it aired for the final time in 2010, many people are calling for its return after last night's Comic Relief on RTÉ.
Ray D'Arcy reprised his role as presenter for a special one-off sketch, which also featured the likes of Zig and Zag and Dustin the Turkey. They certainly haven't lost the magic over the years.
The lads 😭♥️ The Den did not disappoint, g’wan Ray 🙌🏼 #RTEComicRelief pic.twitter.com/Z2KOAhG6dh

Considering that everybody in the country used to watch the show at some point, it is not surprising that this section of the Comic Relief went down an absolute storm.
Not only were people loving every minute of it, they were even demanding that The Den be brought back on air on a more permanent basis.
I’m a 31 year old man sitting at home on a Friday night waiting for The Den with Dustin the Turkey and Zig & Zag to come on the tele and I’m at peace with that. #RTEComicRelief

Have spent the last minutes bouncing between Beyoncé at Glastonbury and Zig and Zag on the Den on #RTEComicRelief and I’m not sure which is more iconic.

Tonight confirmed that The Den was hilarious back in the day and continues to be now. If you are telling me that the youth of today would not find it entertaining then clearly it is the children who are wrong 😂#RTEComicRelief pic.twitter.com/OcmwCUYQ99

Who could argue with them?
With all that is going on in the world at the moment, maybe what everyone needs is a daily does of Zig and Zag and Dustin the Turkey in their lives. We certainly wouldn't mind it...
