There's nothing like a feel good movie to lift your spirits. Some of the most beloved films ever released fall into the category of one that instantly lift your mood while watching them.
Cinema has moved away from such titles in recent years, but with all that is going in the world at the minute, we could do with a few more of them. Luckily, possibly the best feel good movie of the 2010s is now on Netflix.
Released in 2019, The Peanut Butter Falcon follows the amazing story of Zak, a man with Down syndrome who runs away from a residential home in order to pursue his dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
Played by the brilliant Zack Gottsagen, he soon encounters Tyler (Shia LaBeouf), a travelling thief who helps him after seeing him be bullied by a child. Tyler agrees to help him travel to wrestling school in Florida, but they are soon tracked down by Zak's carer Eleanor (Dakota Johnson).
Despite her attempts to get him to return to the care home, she is soon forced to go on the journey with them after Zak throws he car keys into a lake. What follows is one of the best fell good stories you are likely to see, one that will have you laughing and crying in equal measure.
The movie boasts a rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes and you can watch the trailer in full below.
