The Banshees of Inisherin trailer: First look at new Martin McDonagh movie
The new trailer for The Banshees of Inisherin has us gripped. The hilarious two-minute trailer has the cast quipping in classic McDonagh style, and the film promises to be a knockout.
The new film is set during the Irish Civil War and, as the trailer shows, follows the fallout between two old friends (played by Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell) and the ensuing conflict on a remote Irish island.
The film will see Gleeson and Farrell reunited on screen 14 years after their iconic turn in McDonagh's first feature length film In Bruges. The long-awaited reunion will also star Irishmen Barry Keoghan and Pat Shortt. Farrell and Keoghan previously starred together in The Killing of a Sacred Deer and, more recently, in The Batman.

He won an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for Six Shooter (starring Gleeson) in 2005.
