The coronavirus pandemic is bringing out the best in a lot of people. A lot of money has been raised for various charities, with fundraisers having to be cancelled due to social distancing measures.
Then you have those who are helping those struggling at the minute. With older people being forced to 'cocoon' in their homes, a lot is being done to make sure they have everything they need to get through the week.
That is not limited to this country.
Spain has been one of the nations hit hardest during the pandemic, having recorded nearly 200,000 cases and over 20,000 deaths up to this point. As a result, many people are risking their own health in order to help others.
That includes this taxi driver, who had been bringing patients to and from hospital free of charge. He got a call to pick another person up, but he didn't know that he would br greeted by the hospital staff who wanted to thank him for all that he had done.
Amazing. We could all use more stories like this at the moment.
