If you haven't been watching The Sinner then you need to get a hold of yourself. The series has been around for few years now, with each season focussing on a different story but all of them centering around Detective Harry Ambrose, played by Bill Pullman. The latest season is available to stream on Irish Netflix from Friday, 19 June.
Season one saw Jessica Biel receive a best actress Golden Globe and Emmy nomination and she has remained on for seasons two and three as an executive producer. This season's cast is headed up by White Collar's Matt Bomer and Sharp Object's Chris Messina.
The first thing you'll learn about The Sinner is that nothing is ever as straight-cut as it seems as first but for what it's worth, season three's premise is described by Netflix as "Detective Harry Ambrose investigates a grisly car crash that leads to one of the most complicated and dangerous cases of his career." It has already aired on US television as received very positive reviews.
If you've never watched the show before you needn't watch the seasons in order, given it's an anthology of sorts, but we'd recommend starting at the very beginning so you get to follow Ambrose's character development the whole way through the series.
