After what has happened over the last few months we finally have something good to look forward to, The Late Late Toy Show.
Yes, that's right the Toy Show is confirmed to be happening this year. Speaking during his RTE Radio One breakfast show this morning host of the show, Ryan Tubridy, confirmed the production was going ahead as planned saying:
I've got some really good news for you.
"'The Toy Show 2020', it's happening. It's going to be arguably the most remarkable 'Toy Show' we have ever put together.
"I was talking to some people who are critical to the programme itself, and I was so blown away by their ideas, and their passion and their sense of mission. It's arguably going to be the most important 'Toy Show I have done', and by 'I', I mean 'we'.
It was thought previously that the show could be in jeopardy this year due to the COVID -19 restrictions in place. Thankfully this doesn't seem to be the case. It is still unclear if there will be any studio audience for the show this year and how the restrictions will impact some of the show's segments.
But we're just glad it will be back this year because if there was ever a show that could bring this country together after the year its been it would definitely be The Late Late Toy Show.
If you aren't able to wait a few more months for the real deal RTE have you covered. 'The Late Late Toy Show Singalong' will be taking a look back at some of the most memorable singing moments from Ryan Tubridy's time as host, which you can catch this Sunday on RTE One at 6.30 pm.
