Mindhunter Season 2
... The brilliant Netflix series returns
David Fincher's outstanding Netflix series returned at the weekend for its second season and it's well worth the wait. If you somehow haven't heard of it yet, the show centres on the FBI's first Behavioural Science Unit as they take the first steps into understanding criminal psychology.
Through their interviews with serial killers they start to put their knowledge to use in ongoing cases and in season 2 the team try to solve the Atlanta murders that occurred in real life between 1979 and 1981.
Take Us Home: Leeds United
... Leeds United fans be warned
Amazon Prime's new Leeds United documentary is worth watching for two reasons. Firstly, if you're not a Leeds fan then you'll definitely enjoy its blow-by-blow account of one of the maddest seasons at one of the maddest clubs in world football. Secondly, if you're a Leeds fan who is already all to familiar with how last season went this is still required viewing in order to remind yourself of the dangers of hope.
From spygate to the tears of Daniel James, this has everything.
Succession
... Everyone's an asshole and it's great
We're two epsiodes deep into the second season of Succession on Sky Atlantic and it is still tremendous. Brian Cox is the father of the Roy family, owners of a global media empire and for all intents and purposes, a shower of bastards.
The gang of children include the likes Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin and Alan Ruck, and all of them are arseholes. It's dark, it's dastardly and sometimes even funny. Make sure to catch up on it as soon as possible.
