Today we bring you two completely different podcasts and a hit BBC series that has just dropped on Netflix.
Blue Planet II
... If you want Netflix to blow your mind
If you didn't see it when it aired on BBC a couple of years ago then you need to check out David Attenborough's Blue Planet II, which has just dropped on Netflix this week. Following on from the original 2001 series, it goes without saying that is a marvellous production feat, presenting us with the amazing beauty of life in our oceans, while also showing the destruction human pollution is wreaking on their habitat.
With a Hans Zimmer composed music score, the soundtrack is also almost as amazing as the footage.
The David McWilliams Podcast
... If you're looking to understand on the economy works
If you started with a blank sheet of paper and proceeded to write down a list of Irish people who should have their own podcast then David McWilliams would probably be very high on that list. The economist has been explaining the intricacies of money and human nature to a general Irish audience for decades now, and finally he is doing it in audio form.
His podcast is about one month old now, and in his latest episode he and his guests delve into global property cycles and how they could impact the Irish economy. Check it out below:
Si Ferry Meets... Martin Compston
... If you're a sports fan who loves Line of Duty
There are two things that many Line of Duty fans may not know. Firstly, Martin Compston AKA DS Steve Arnott used to be a professional footballer, and secondly, he has the thickest Scottish accent you are ever likely to hear.
This week, Open Goal's Si Ferry has met up with Compston to chat about his short-lived football career, how he moved into acting and of course, Line of Duty. The podcast is well worth a listen (search Open Goal) or you can watch the video below.
