Apollo 11 has been released
... a documentary to celebrate the 50th of the moon landing
Released today in Irish cinemas, Apollo 11 details the journey of the Apollo 11 mission from Earth to moon and back again. The documentary, directed by Todd Douglas Miller, features previously unseen footage of the voyage. Furthermore, the film has received rave reviews, with Mark Jenkins of the Washington Post saying:
Some of the found film is not as crisp as contemporary digital imagery, but it has an immediacy that today?s CGI-dependent tales of cosmic fantasy never achieve
